Track 03 · Tools, not oracles

Technical Analysis

Candlesticks, volume and indicators, with honest limits on what each one can tell you.

Free learning note

A level is a question, not a promise.

Support and resistance describe areas where price has previously met buying or selling interest. Treat them as zones to observe, not exact prices that must hold. A moving average summarises past prices; it does not know what comes next.

An example to think through

Price can move beyond a previously respected area and then return inside it. That is why a breakout label by itself is not a complete plan.

Try this on a historical chart.

Find a historical range. Mark its upper and lower areas, including occasions where price briefly crossed them. Describe what the chart actually did.
